its me!

Well, its official. I have an awesome camera! it came a week ago this past Friday and it is a sexy piece of machinery.

I took tons of photos on the 4th and 5th of sparkler action, then this morning I got some shots of various flora and fauna after the rains last night. I'll be posting them later this week.

On a bad note, my house got broken into on the evening of the 4th and my laptop was stolen. Luckily, it was all they got. My husband and I walked in on the guy superman-ing himself out the den window so he didn't get much. Its also not a completely horrible thing because I was going to replace the computer anyways, so this speeds up the process. For the time being I'm using my mother's computer, so I may not update as much as I like. Look for photos later this week for sure, though.
